Eric M. Myers

Company Accountant

Eric M. Myers has been a leading litigator in both Florida state as well as Federal court for over 20 years, trying hundreds of corporate cases, among others.

He was also a managing attorney and chair of the charitable trust for a prestigious international law firm in Miami, FL for many years, where he specialized in corporate and international law matters. Additionally, he was a Judicial Intern at the Florida Supreme Court, in the office of Chief Justice R. Fred Lewis, where he wrote two Supreme Court decisions, and was in involved in a wide variety of cases, ranging from capital punishment to corporate law.

Eric’s educational teaching experience is also extensive. He is currently a professor of international law and international business at Eafit University, academically the highest ranked University in Medellin, Colombia. Previously, he was been a professor at the largest higher educational institution in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he taught Business Law, national government, state and local government, among other courses. Additionally, he has taught, tutored and mentored many individual students and groups in both the US and Colombia.
Eric has also been very active in the community, where he serves on the board of directors for the Caribbean American National Association. He formerly was chair of a major south Florida charitable foundation, and was on the allocations committee of the United Way of Broward county. He is also an athlete that trained for the Olympics, and is an opera singer, having performed at several south Florida venues.
Eric received his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University, where he was on the Dean’s List, an officer of Phi Delta Phi Honor Fraternity, and was named to Who’s Who of American Law Students. Eric also has received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, where he was a member of Sigma Delta Honor Society and named to Who’s Who of Graduate Students.
