During the World Bank/International Monetary Fund (WB/IMF) Spring Meeting 2025, The George Washington University is hosting a high-level conference during a time of rapid technological innovation and global uncertainty, bringing together Central Bank Governors, State Governors, Ministers, private sector Executives, technology leaders, members of the African diaspora, and academics. Building on the success of its inaugural event in April 2024, this conference will examine critical challenges and opportunities facing Africa, particularly in the area of digital transformation and its applications in national and regional economies. This includes standard room accommodation, registration, conference breakfast and lunch, welcome reception, gala, and a capitol hill one-day excursion.

  • Registration fee $6,500 includes Conference schedules of Events, Training Sessions, Welcome Reception, Breakfast & Lunch, Gala, Hotel Accommodations, Transportation, and Capitol Hill Day Excursion.
 
  • Air fares are fixed; however, we cannot guarantee airfare rates as this cost varies daily and by origination point until you book your flight.
 
  • If you decide to upgrade from the standard room, you will incur an additional cost.
 
  • Additional Fee: Visa $100-$185 requires a Visa–the Visa cost is not included in the estimated summit.
 
  • Visa application 90 days before departure and you’ll be notified when time to apply for your Visa.
FOR REGISTRATION YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
  • The first time you enter the registration booking portal you will need to complete a business questionnaire form. Once RSVP is complete with elected payment option, the event coordinator will contact you for payment. A valid credit card will be required.
 
  • All fees, including host hotel block/charges, must be paid in full by January 30, 2024.
 
  • The deadline hotel block fee is considered per night during the World Bank/International Monetary Fund (WB/IMF) Spring Meeting 2025 pricing will be at a higher rate.
 
  • Other hotel and Airbnb options will be at your discretion.
 
  • The room selection pricing only includes standard accommodation. If you register a guest/spouse additional charges will apply.
 
  • Once you complete your registration, you will receive an email confirmation.
 
  • Travel to the United States can take up to twenty-two hours. Airfare is handled separately by Country Travel.
 
  • You may need to add at least one day at the beginning and end of travel.
