Colombia – South Africa Delegation Visit & Black Brain Pictures Media City
Mandla Ngcongwane, Founder & Creative Director, executive leadership of Black Brain Pictures, and Paul Nelson, CEO of Global Impact Industries Consortium had a moment of strategic engagement and integration of Columbia Diaspora delegation with the Pan African Council, led by Relebohile Phoofolo, Public Policy. Together they welcomed dignitaries Jorge Zorro, Minister of Culture of Colombia along with Director of Cultural Affairs, renowned Mr. Hendrix Hinestroza, Colombia Film Director & Producer, and greeted by Colombia Vice President husband Mr. Rafael Yerney Pinillo. Minister Zorror expressed the honor to be part of this unprecedented visit, led by Vice President Francia Márquez, to South Africa, Kenya and Ethiopia, with the objective to strengthen Colombia’s political, economic, commercial and cultural relations with this continent.
The Ministry of Culture beginning of long-term The integration plan to establish an intentional dialogue in a private meeting session with Black Brain Pictures in Johannesburg, South Africa and subject experts in the media entertainment & hospitality exploring areas for joint cultural education exchange programs, collaborative partnerships that will create opportunities for the Columbia Diaspora to build with Africa. Minister Zorro furthermore shared that in the Colombia administration, through the National Development Plan, we are fully committed with the implementation of the “Africa Strategy 2022- 2026”, an initiative that seeks to increase Colombia’s presence in this continent and strengthen our cooperation and friendship.
The delegation and members of the consortium shared policy coherence, mutual interests such as Columbia Diaspora Film projects, Festivals, Private Sector emerging markets (ways to service through content creation), and investments. The delegation took a tour of Black Brain Pictures 120 acres site and shared vision to establish Media City and Global African Business Association (GABA) Smart Center Incubator Program a Career Guide Network to drive social and economic impact on Africa’s International Ranking. The commitment to create Global Awareness Outreach to support the welfare and advancement of the Columbia Diaspora to Africa, Second Generation and beyond with special emphasis on the Youth and Women.
